History
Mark Sullivan was born and raised in middle Tennessee and his family has lived in this area for several generations. He earned his diploma from Dickson County High School in 1987.
I began working for The Parent Company, Inc. in 1989 as a Carpenter and worked there for 18 years. During that time I successfully completed the Associated Builders and Contractors Carpentry Training Program in 1993 and the A.A.H.O.I./T.R.E.E.S. Home Inspector 90 hour Pre-Licensing Program. I was also certified as a Master Carpenter by the Associated General Contractors in 1996.
About Us
I developed a reputation at the Parent Company, Inc. for consistently producing error-free work in a meticulous environment as well as my ability to interpret blueprints. With my 18 years of experience beginning as a laborer and advancing to the position of carpenter, through a series of enriching experiences to enhance skill and education, I acquired multiple levels of contruction knowledge involving: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and many areas of commercial construction.
Present:
I started this company in December of 2007 after working with The Parent Company, Inc. for 18 years, as a laborer and a carpenter. My goal is to offer an affordable and informative report of the property that is being inspected, whether the customer is buying, selling, or just trying to stay informed on the condition of a home that they have lived in for many years. I am also a member of the Home Inspectors of Tennessee Association (HITA).
At this time the only service offered is that of a home inspection, but I plan to add other services in the future. Services to be added will be listed as they become available; they include Radon Testing, testing for lead based paint, and many others.
Future:
I plan to continue my education and gain more certifications which I will list here. Some continuing education classes taken to date include; Up on the roof: Asphalt Shingles, Vinyl Siding the Basics and Beyond, A System View of Exterior Walls, The Basics of HVAC Ductwork, all provided by Certainteed Corporation, and Common Problems found in Home Inspections, provided by Inspection Center, Inc.
